A plus A | Slovenian Exhibition Centre in Venice hosts the first Italian solo show by Mladen Miljanovic (1981). On show there are two works that see the thrust of the Bosnian artist to identify in everyday life reality new insights, able to challenge the role of art today, its field of action and its tendency to invade the most personal and intimate spheres. The film Do You Intend to Lie to Me? pays a tribute to the thirty-year artistic career by Veso Sovilj, who shares his origins with Miljanovic. The film is shown together with the photographic series Show By Your Hand Where do You Feel Pain, which documents in a direct way the daily talks of a married couple: the husband, former soldier, deaf and disabled, is forced to communicate with his wife only through written messages.
